Patricio Murphy is a PhD architect who combines teaching, research and professional practice, setting up his offices in Buenos Aires Argentina and Miami United States.
PhD in Architecture (2022 | UBA). Postgraduate degree Architecture & Urban Planning Education (2019 | UBA). He studied the first year in the master's degree in Advanced Architectural Design (2016 | UBA).Architect from the University of Buenos Aires (2005).
He has been adjunct Professor of Structures I (UBA) until 2022. Previously, he has been adjunct professor in Structures I and Structures II (UTDT), Adjunct Professor of Introduction to structures and Structures II (UBA) and assistant in Structures II (UBA), starting his teaching activity in 2003. He collaborated as a guest in different courses at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Universidad de San Martin and Universidad de Buenos Aires.

He is author of Industrial Patent (INPI) about a construction method for wooden walkable mezzanines based on reciprocal frame system.

In 2004 he did an internship at Aldez Engineering in Construction developers (Veracruz, Mexico) organized by MINCyT (Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of the Argentine Nation). He published several articles in the D.signa Magazine. He has obtained distinctions in national and international competitions such as the Experimental Housing Project for INCOSE social housing plans (2009), the Housing Project from Banco Hipotecario (2007) and for a Hotel in Chan Chan, Peru (2006).
He is the CEO of the Murphy and Associate, based in Buenos Aires, founded in 2012. Previously, he collaborated with leading architectural studios performing project and construction management tasks.
